REVIEW: Trend It Up - Face Contouring Set

Hi everyone :)

A while ago I bought a face contouring set from the DM brand Trend It Up because I had a coupon for 30% off. It's been about a month now I think, so I'm ready to give you my opinion ;)

The regular price is around 5€ for this set (contour, bronze and highlighter) and you get 7,5g of product (2,5g per pan).

These are all powdery consistency and sorry about it being a bit messy, it just shows I use it a lot :P

I love the fact that the back side of the product has a description of how to use this set and it's also shown on the picture. Nice touch for the beginners.

The packaging is nothing spectacular, but I do like it because it's simple. It would make it more travel friendly if there was an integrated mirror, but the price would be higher and honestly, I don't mind that there's no mirror.

The first powder is a nice ashy colour which is perfect for contouring and it works best with light and medium skin tones. The middle one is warm and slightly orange. And the last one is slightly yellowish and can be used to lighten certain parts. All three powders are matte. These are very pigmented, so use a light hand, plus very blendable :)

I recommend applying a small amount and than gradually build it up, so you don't end up looking like a clown ;)

To conclude, I'm in love with this product. It blends easily, is very pigmented and works really nice. I especially love the contour powder because of it's ashy tone. Would totally recommend it to beginners as well!

Have you tried it, let me know your opinion ;)

Have a lovely weekend guys! <3

  4. Sama tudi preferiram sivkasti/pepelnasti podton contourjev, če ne, me oranžkasti naredijo kot da imam slab dan makeup-a :P xx Maja
