Skincare Routine

Hey everyone!

Since I gave birth in October 2019, my skin was in terrible condition. It went from oily to extremely dry with a lot of acne. I didn't do anything at first, because I thought it's gonna sort itself out, but it did not :D 

So I started a whole new skincare routine and it actually improved my skin a lot. I do have some acne still, but it's hormonal - I still breastfeed so that's normal. Today I decided to share with you what I'm using at the moment. 

First Step -  in my morning and evening routine I use a cleanser. In the morning it's a cleanser bar soap from Erno Laszlo because it's mild and in the evening I use this cleanser from Avon's Planet Spa range. If I wear makeup I always double cleanse in the evening - micellar water first and then rinse and use a cleanser as well.

Second Step - always a toner, because it balances your skin's PH level and closes the pores. At the moment I'm using Oriflame's Love Nature tea tree toner. Tea tree helps me with blemishes and acne, it's amazing for the skin.

Third Step - is a serum. I currently use Avant's  Eight Hour Retexturing & Anti oxidising hyaluronic facial serum. I absolutely love it. Got it in LF beauty box.

Fourth Step - after serum comes moisturiser. I also use Avant's ultimate hyaluronic acid resurfacing duo moisturiser. An expensive moisturiser but it's amazing. Another one from my LF box.

Both serum and moisturiser contain hyaluronic acid which is perfect for dry skin, since it works like a sponge - holding up to a thousand times its weight in water and pulling it to the skin's surface to quench and plump. Hyaluronic acid can benefit all skin types - from sensitive and dry to oily and acne prone - because it helps reduce irritating side effects from stronger ingredients that can feel harsh or dry out the skin.

Fifth Step - is an eye cream, but I use it only in the morning. I currently use this Dr.Botanicals pomegranate brightening eye serum, but I'm not a big fan of it. I'll use it up and then use something else.

Another empties post for you today, I haven't written one since the end of June, so this has been accumulating for two months already. I did manage to use up a good amount of products ;)

Let's start!

Avon Senses Anti-Stress Shower Gel - I bought this one on sale. An average shower gel, nothing special.

Repurchase: I wouldn't buy the same scent.

Avon Senses Cocktail collection Kir Royale Shower Gel - this is a new line of raspberry & cassis that Avon introduced. I bought myself this shower gel and I have to say I liked the scent.

Repurchase: Maybe if it's on sale.

Avon Senses Joyful Tropics Shower Creme - oh this was a nice scent, perfect for summer with papaya and peach. Loved it.

Repurchase: Maybe.

Subrina Cherry Blossom Shower Gel - my all time favourite shower gel. Smells so nice, fresh of cherry blossoms and lingers on my skin for a while. Love this one and it was repurchased many many times.

Repurchase: Yes!

Nivea Micellar Shampoo - for normal to greasy hair. The fact that it has 0% silicones is very nice. I think this one worked great wiht my hair. I did repurchase it a couple of times already, so that tells something, I 've been impressed so far. I do have some different shampoos right now to try out, but I think this one will get repurchased in the future for sure!

Repurchase: Definitely in the future.

Balea Mizellen Reinigungs Tucher - one of them was a limited edition. I really like these wipes for the times when I'm too lazy to properly remove my makeup (which is 90% of the time unfortunately :D). They do the job great plus they're very affordable.

Repurchase: For sure.

Avon Senses Calming Tuscany Shower Creme - oh god I hated this scent with all of my heart. Hate is a strong word but I really, really didn't like it (get the reference :D). My boyfriend didn't mind it though, so you may like it. It has strong scent of olives. My first shower gel from Avon that I really didn't like at all :D 

Repurchase: No.

Avon Senses Peaceful Reflection Shower Creme - this one on the other hand is my favourite from Avon :D Smells really nice, gentle and not too strong. It's oriental orchid and raspberry.

Repurchase: Yes!

Balea Cocos/Ananas Shower Gel - limited edition, another one of those summery scents. I enjoyed this one as well, really nice.

Repurchase: It was LE.

Balea Avocuddle & Strawberry Kiss Duschgel - such a cute packaging right ;) Totally got me of course :D Enjoyed the scent as well ;)

Repurchase: Another LE.

Farmasi Summer Cocolo Body Wash - this one was a part of the whole coconut collection from Farmasi. Not your usual coconut scent, this one is a bit different since it's more "natural". I did like it, but my boyfriend hated it :D

Repurchase: No, limited edition.

Avon Care Coconut Oil Body Wash - oh if you haven't noticed yet, I love everything coconuty :D Coconut must be my favourite with all things. This body wash I took with us to seaside and I really loved it. It's perfect for summer.

Repurchase: Maybe.

Balea Melone Creme Seife - basically a hand soap. I usually buy them from Balea because they're affordable and do the job just fine. This one was a melone scent, perfect for summer.

Repurchase: Not this scent.

Balea Men Surfers Paradise Duschgel - I usually don't buy shower gels especially for my boyfriend but this one really smelled nice. At the end I showered with it as well because it was amazing :D

Repurchase: I might.

Balea Sweet Berry Rasiergel - I always buy shaving creams from Balea because they always have different, amazing scents and this one wasn't an exception.

Repurchase: Different scent.


Balea Spray-On Body Lotion  - loved this one because of the easy application. I'm usually pretty lazy with my body lotions, but because this was so easy to apply I did manage to use it up :D

Repurchase: I did buy another one yes.

Dvorec Trebnik Funky Orange Shampoo  - Unfortunately I wasn't a big fan. I felt like my hair didn't get clean enough.. My boyfriend used it up instead.

Repurchase: No.


FA Magic Shower Gel - pretty packaging and nice scent that lingered on my skin for a while.

Repurchase: Maybe if it's on sale.

Avon FootWorks Deodorising Foot And Shoe Spray - lavender scented. I like this spray for shoes, it's really nice especially for summer.

Repurchase: I did already.

Afrodita Suncare Sunscreen Milk SPF20 - my first time buying sunscreen from Afrodita. It's quite expensive but it did the job. I think it was better than the Avon's cream than we had last year with us on holidays.

Repurchase: Not sure, maybe.

Essence Nail Art Twins & Nail Art- I loved this glittery polish so much. Unfortunately it dried up because it's quite old :D. The nail art polish I wasn't a big fan of, it also dried up.

Repurchase: Not sold anymore.

Essence Colour & Go Polishes - I'm sorry I don't know the names of these two. I like Essence nail polishes and these two were good as well.

Repurchase: No.

Images Deep Sea Moisturizing Mask - wrote a review here ->CLICK. Didn't see results.

Repurchase: No.


Balea Pflege-Kick Tuch Maske - A decent mask for great price.

Repurchase: No, I like to try different sheet masks.

Merci Handy Hand Cleansing Gel - a nice cleansing gel for your handbag. I got mine in LF box.

Repurchase: No.

Balea Hygiene-Handgel - after Merci Handy I found this one in DM which claims it removes 99% of bacteria. I liked this one as well, kept it at my office desk.

Repurchase: I actually bought another but with coconut scent :P

Real Chemistry Enviromental Rescue Essential Day Cream - it did give me a nice glow as it claims. I liked it, but wasn't a big fan. It performed average.

Repurchase: Probably no.

Nuxe Moisturizing Cream - nice cream. I got it in LF box as well. I think Nuxe is too pricey for what it actually is.

Repurchase: No.

Gatineau Serum - I didn't notice any difference, but this was honestly a small sample of the serum so maybe if I used it more...

Repurchase: Maybe some samples.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation - special foundation, unfortunately a bit more expensive than my usual foundations :D I did like how it looked on the skin, like you have nothing on. Very natural.

Repurchase: Maybe.

Catrice Even Skin Tone Foundation - this one was more of a thick and heavier foundation but also looked very nice on the skin, especially applied with a wet beauty blender.

Repurchase: I might in the future.

Elf Blush - an orange toned blush with little gold shimmer in it. Looked really nice especially in the summer but it's time to go since it's pretty old ;)

Repurchase: No.

Avon Little Black Dress EDP - my favourite scent from Avon. I repuchased it a few times already. It's such a classic scent, very suitable for an evening outing. It's soft and inoffensive plus it stays on me for a while.

Repurchase: Definitely in the future!

Balea Beauty Therapy Tagescreme - a sample which was included with makeup wipes. As far as I could test it it was nice :)

Purchase: No.

Omorovicza Balancing Moisturiser - another product from LF box. It was a light cream, but kept my skin hydrated through the day and it worked nice under makeup as a primer.

Repurchase: Probably no, just because I like to try different ones.

Polaar Hand Cream - my hands are not usually dry but I still use hand cream almost every day. This one was nice, a bit thicker in texture.

Repurchase: No.

Monu Spa Warming Ginger Bath & Body Oil - I used it as a body oil. My boyfriend and I both loved the scent which was a mixture of ginger, lemongrass and orange. So fresh!

Repurchase: Maybe.

Oriflame Anchor Soap Bar - perfect for summer since it was shaped like an anchor :D

Repurchase: Limited edition.

Ciate Wonderwand Mascara - another product I got in LF box. Ciate is known for their nail polishes, but I really liked this mascara. It had drier formula which I prefer. It was easy to layer.

Repurchase: Maybe.

Loreal Paradise Extatic Mascara - bought it for a review when it first came out, but then I never found the time to write it. I really liked this one as well, but the only downside is it dries so freaking fast! For the price which is around 14€ it dries too soon unfortunately.

Repurchase: I might if it's on sale.

Essence Brow Designer - I buy my pencil brow from Essence. It's affordable and does the job.

Repurchase: Yes.

Hey loves <3

I didn't have time to post my empties last month, so here's what I accumulated in the past almost two months.

Farmasi "Love Limited Edition" Hair Shampoo - this was Valentine's limited edition from a brand called Farmasi, which is fairly new to me. This shampoo had a nice scent but otherwise I didn't like it, probably because I have oily hair with dandruff problems. Would recommend it only if you have normal hair type.

Repurchase: Nop.

Old Spice Sport Shower gel + Shampoo - my boyfriend used it and it really smelled amazing! He loved it, but the price is quite high I have to say.

Repurchase: Maybe if it's on sale.

Balea Rose Elegance Cremedusche - I always buy Balea shower gels, because they're affordable and always have nice variety of scents.

Repurchase: Different scent.

Subrina Cherry Blossom Shower Gel - if you follow me for a while, you know that's my favourite shower gel of all time. The scent is absolutely amazing plus I love the fact it lingers on my skin for a while.

Repurchase: Definitely.

Syoss Volume 01 Shampoo - I don't use Syoss shampoos anymore, but this one I got as a gift. I liked the scent and it made my hair soft, but didn't help with my hair getting oily and with dandruff.

Repurchase: No.

Winter Berry Liquid Soap - my friend got me this soap last year. It was a big 500ml bottle and I loved the design, plus the scent was nice. Looked amazing in December in my bathroom :P

Repurchase: No.

Avon Anew Essential Youth Maximising Sheet Mask - loved the fit of the mask and actually it felt really nice. My skin felt great after using it, but nothing spectacular either.

Repurchase: Maybe.

Oriflame Love Nature Clay Mask - I loved this one honestly. My skin felt clean and really nice after using it. I like to try different masks that's why I'm not sure of repurchasing it.

Repurchase: Maybe.

Essence "Hugs & Kisses" TE Glitter Topcoat 03 Crazy In Love - I tried really hard to get this one, because it was a limited edition and it sold out like crazy. It was something special, a glittery nail polish with tiny hearts in it. Really nice :)

Repurchase: Unfortunately it was a limited edition.

Essence "Ballerina Backstage" Nail Polish 05 Grand-Plie In Black - didn't particularly like the shade of the polish, but it had memories behind so I didn't get rid of it before. But now it's time to let it go :)

Repurchase: It was limited edition.

Balea Mizelen Reinigungs Tucher - without alcohol. These wipes are really nice, infused with micellar water.

Repurchase: Probably yes.

Real Chemistry Luminous 3-minute Peel - this product I got in my Lookfantastic beauty box. It's really something special. It's not a mask, you have to cleanse your skin and leave it slightly damp. Then you spread the gel thinly and quickly over your forehead, cheeks, chin and neck. You quickly begin massaging these areas and after 15-20 seconds, solids should form under your fingertips. This means the peel is activating correctly as the gel is now combining with your dead skin. It's amazing! Quite expensive though - around 50€ for 50 ml of product.

Repurchase: I will in the future for sure!

Rexona MotionSense Anti-Perspirant - I did like it, but it's not that affordable and nothing more special than my usual Balea deodorants, which are half the price.

Repurchase: Probably no.

Maybelline The Volume Express Mascara - wasn't a fan of this one. Had a big brush and I had problems with applying it because of that. 

Repurchase: No.

Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream - was nice but nothing special.

Repurchase: No.

GreenLine Hydromineral Light Moisturizing Cream - this one I enjoyed a lot. For the low price you get 50ml of product and my skin really liked this one.

Repurchase: Maybe.

BalanceMe Congested Skin Serum - I tried a few of Balanceme products before - got all of them in my Lookfantastic box. I'm not a big fan, they're nice but nothing spectacular.

Repurchase: Nop.

Eve Lom Cleanser - this was my first cleansing balm that I tried. I got it in my LF box as well. Loved it, every last drop of it. It was amazing, even though the scent is not something up my alley. Very expensive though.

Repurchase: I hope so someday in the future :D

Balea Creme Gel Mask - this was a limited edition, you got it in three parts. Nice mask as usual from Balea, my skin felt soft and nice.

Repurchase: it was a limited edition.

Avon Little Black Dress Weekend Sample - a new Avon's fragrance, LBD Weekend. I'm a big fan of their classic LBD, but this one blew me away as well. It's really soft with notes of lemon, orange flower and Indonesian patchouli. Amazing I tell you :)

Purchase: I did already the full size :)

Another month, another empties post. This time I didn't gather a lot of products, but I tried anyway :P

Avon Senses Peaceful Reflection Oriental Orchid & Raspberry Shower Creme - I tried many of Avon's shower gels but this one is my favourite at the moment. I love the scent which lingers on my skin for a while!

Repurchase: Yes in the future.

Dusch Das Heavenly Vanilla Duschgel - this one I got as a gift at my work. I never tried this brand before and I was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed the vanilla scent and liked the texture of the gel.

Repurchase: Maybe.

Fitoval Dandruff Dermatological Shampoo - this one helps me a lot with my dandruff problem. Unfortunately you're not suppose to use it all the time, plus it's quite expensive.

Repurchase: I will yes.

Syoss Anti-Dandruff Shampoo - I didn't like this one at all. It didn't help me with dandruff.

Repurchase: My boyfriend likes it so maybe for him.

Essence "Like A Million Miles Away" Perfume - enjoyed the scent but unfortunately it did not last on me.

Repurchase: Probably not.

Cherryliscious Lovemore - cute packaging, fruity scent. I did like it.

Repurchase: No.

Oriflame Stretch & Curl Mascara (blue) - I liked the colour, but it didn't transfer to my lashes. It was barely visible on.

Repurchase: Nop.

Oriflame VeryMe Fat Lash Funky Mascara - silver coloured mascara but I had the same problem with it as with the previous one. The colour was pretty but it was barely visible on lashes.

Repurchase: Nop.

Rimmel Apolicalips Lip Lacquer 101 Celestial - I posted a review a while ago here -> CLICK. Loved the colour - dusty pink and it lasted for a while on my lips. Unfortunately I had a big problem with it, which was a scent (as I mention in a review as well). It was very unpleasant and it actually made me sick a couple of times, I couldn't stand it at all. Here I have to mention I usually don't have problems with scents and I'm not sensitive.

Repurchase: No.

Balea Nature Tagescreme - day cream with 95% ingredients of natural origins. It was nice, but nothing spectacular. Fair for the price point.

Repurchase: Maybe.

Vichy Normaderm sample - too small of a sample to make my opinion.. It felt nice, but my foundation didn't apply well on top of this. So I'm not sure, would have to try it more.

Purchase: No.

Avon Anew Platinum Night Cream - I have to say it felt really nice on my skin and in the mornings my skin was very soft and nourished. I liked the effect it gave my skin. The only con is that when it arrived to me it was already thickened up and wasn't creamy as it was suppose to be.

Repurchase: Maybe.

Ilorga Time Filler Absolute Wrinkles Correction Cream - I didn't notice anything special about this one.

Repurchase: No.

Balea Tuchmaske mit Aktivkohle - enjoyed this sheet mask a lot. My skin felt nourished and soft after.

Repurchase: Maybe.

Balea Tuchmaske Fancy Pomegranate - this one I didn't like at all. It didn't fit properly plus it wasn't moist enough. Also I didn't notice any effect.

Repurchase: No.

Parodontax Classic Toothpaste - my favourite toothpaste of all time. It's without fluoride and it's the only one that helps me with my bleeding gums. It has an unusual taste but you get used to it. would totally recommend!

Repurchase: I did already.

Essence "Vampire Love"TE Nail Polish - old polish which I had to let go now since it's almost empty. Liked it a lot. It was a greyish blue with silver sparkles.

Repurchase: No because it was limited edition.

Balea Kuniglicher Krunen-Kranich Duschgel - smelt really fruity, like mango. I did like it, but it was more of a summery scent,

Repurchase: It was limited edition.

Balea Viva Cuba Duschgel - this shower gel was definitely something special and I did enjoy it a lot. It was fresh and smelt like limes. Loved it and if I can find it again, I will totally buy it.

Repurchase: Another limited edition one.

Avon Senses Romantic Garden Of Eden Shower Gel - an average shower gel, nothing special.

Repurchase: Probably no.

Avon Naturals Cosy Vanilla & Sandalwood Shower Gel - this shower gel was a little bit more expensive, but I have to say it was really nice. It lasted for a while because it was quite thick in consistency. Nice scent for winter as well.

Repurchase: Maybe.

Avon Advance Techniques 2 in 1 Shampoo & Conditioner - anti dandruff - I didn't like this one at all. It made my hair even greasier than before and didn't help with my dandruff at all,

Repurchase: No.

Avon Naturals Wild Berries And Pomegranate Creamy Yoghurt Scrub - it really smelled like yoghurt and it was nice. The scrub was gentle.

Repurchase: Maybe.

Avon Naturals Sparkling Passionfruit & Peony Shimmer Mist - I actually really enjoyed this mist. It contained tiny shimmer and it looked beautiful in summer on my tan skin, plus I liked the scent.

Repurchase: Maybe.

Jean Marc Giovanni Cote Deo Pafum - received this as a gift but I unfortunately didn't like the scent at all. I had this for years now and it also broke so it just had to go.

Repurchase: No.

Kiko Skin Tone Foundation - I really loved this foundation. Went back to search if I did a review on it and I somehow forgot to :( It looked really nice on my skin, felt very lightweight and it stayed on the whole day.

Repurchase: Maybe.

Avon Corrector - unfortunately I don't know the proper name of this because it erased from the packaging :D I have to say I hated this product. I tried to use it for many different things but it didn't work at all.

Repurchase: Never.

Oriflame Hypnotic Wonderlash Mascara - I actually had this mascara for about two years now. The mascara itself was really nice, separated my lashes nicely and it gave them volume. The best part about it was on the other side - silver coloured mascara. It was the best coloured mascara I ever used.

Repurchase: Unfortunately it was limited edition, however I do still have a gold version :P

Oriflame Visions Blue Mascara - this one looked pretty in the tube, but it didn't show up on my lashes at all.

Repurchase: No.

Oriflame Wonderlash Mascara - this mascara is really good, if you can get it, buy it for sure! It gives both - the length and the volume to your lashes. Loved it.

Repurchase: Yes I will in the future.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara - tried it after it was so hyped everywhere. I do have to say you have to let it dry for a while because it's too wet when you buy it. But after that, it works like magic, my lashes really look like falsies.

Repurchase: I did already.

Skimono Hand Mask - I received this one in one of my LookFantastic beauty boxes. This was my first time trying hand mask. You can read my review here -> CLICK. I don't have very dry hands so I don't actually need these kind of masks, otherwise it felt amazing and would totally recommend if you have dry skin.

Repurchase: No.

J Luna Real Essence Collagen Sheet Mask - felt amazing, left my skin very soft and moisturized.

Repurchase: No, just because I like to try different ones.

Avon Anew Reversalist Infinite Effects Sample - sample for the new Avon cream. You basically get 2 creams in one, you use on side for a week and then another side for a week as well. I did like these samples, I do however have some more to try it more and then I'll decide if it's worth buying. It's quite pricey though.

Purchase: Not sure yet.

Pilaten Black Head Pore Strip Sample - this sample I got in MyBeautybox. It was actually nice, but it hurt when I peeled it off.

Purchase: No.

Balea Multimasking - this was amazing. Multimasking is really in trend right now and here you get one part for t-zone and one for the cheeks. I did love the results!

Repurchase: Maybe.

Fango Delicato Active Mud Mask - I got this one in Lookfantastic box. I did like it, but one packaging gets you multiple uses and unfortunately mine was left open too much and it dried completely. 

Repurchase: Nop.

Oriflame Royal Velvet Firming Eye Contour Cream - I wrote a review here -> CLICK. It did absolutely nothing to my skin. Nothing at all.

Repurchase: Definitely not.

Mimitika Face Sunscreen - another product from LF box. I did really enjoy this cream, it was more thick and left my skin soft and created a nice base for makeup.

Repurchase: Maybe.

Essence Crystal Eyeliner - I didn't like this eyeliner at all. The tip doesn't pick up the glitter as it's suppose to. 

Repurchase: No.

Essence Brow Stylist - love this brow pencil from Essence.

Repurchase: Did already.

Balea Hibiskusblute Deodorant - I really like Balea deodorants. They work great for me.

Repurchase: Another scent.

Parodontax Classic Toothpaste - if you follow me you know Parodontax is my favourite toothpaste. The only one that helps me with bleeding gums. Love it!

Repurchase: Forever.
