Empties #16

Hello everyone :)

I accumulated some empty products yet again, and here they are ;) Enjoy!

Balea Nature Rasier Schaum - a shaving cream with 95% natural ingredients and with bio Argan oil. I really enjoyed it but I think it's discontinued since I can't find it anymore :( Too bad because it was really nice.

Repurchase: May be discontinued, but if I can find it definitely YES.

Balea After Sun Dusche - coconut scented shower gel. I absolutely loved it, but again it was discontinued, I hope they bring it again for the Summer!

Repurchase: Yes I would in a heartbeat!

Mixa Expert Water Mist - lately I've been really obsessed with face sprays like this one because they really moisturize my face. It was a nice spray, no scent, quite moisturizing. But I'm enjoying the Body shop face spray more :)

Repurchase: Not at the moment.

Ma Provence Natural Green Clay Solid Shampoo - I have really oily hair and problem with dandruff, so I decided to try the solid shampoo since I heard a lot of good things about it. Honestly, I had my doubts but it did cleansed my hair nicely, however it definitely did not help with dandruff. Also my scalp was really itchy in a couple of days after washing.. so I'm not completely sure if I'll repurchase it or not. If any of you have some recommendations for shampoo for oily hair with dandruff problem, please let me know!

Repurchase: Not sure.

Essence The Gel Nail Polish Top Coat - I adore this top coat. Really makes your nail polish lasts longer and also makes your nails very shiny. The only thing I don't like that it dried up quite fast, and I had to throw it away.

Repurchase: In the future yes!

Depend All Round Polish - I used it as a top coat, it was average, nothing special about it.

Repurchase: No.

Elf Eyeshadow Primer - my favourite primer of all times. Really keeps the eyeshadow on my oily lids intact for the whole day!

Repurchase: I did already.

Max factor Black Kohl Pencil - I used it for tightlining and it was perfect, didn't smudge at all.

Repurchase: No, just because I have a lot of black pencils.

Essence All About Matt! Fixing Compact Powder - I liked it, it kept my face matt for a couple of hours and than I had to touch it up. But it's really nice for the price.

Repurchase: For sure.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer 51 - a nice concealer, I liked it for my under eyes, however it did sometimes cling to my dry patches.

Repurchase: I have another one in a darker shade, so no.

Oriflame Nature Lip Balm - Oh god I totally forgot about this gem.. Found it the other day when I was organizing my makeup collection and guess what? It went bad.. smells really weird and I had to let it go. Too bad since it was a nice lip balm.

Repurchase: No, I have too many lip balms :D

Let me know if you have tried any of this items ;) Have a great day loves <3

Makeup Collection - Highlighters

Hey loves :)

Finally a makeup collection post. This will be divided in parts depending on the products. We're starting today with highlighters, since there's only a small amount of them in my collection :D

1. Essence "Cinderella" LE Highlighter Powder - 01 The Glass Slipper

This highlighter has imprinted a rose pattern and looks absolutely adorable! It's such an eye catcher, in fact, the whole Cinderella collection was very cute! It's very pigmented so a little goes a long way. It has a cool toned light pink shade. Btw I was lucky enough to find this gem on sale for 0,99€, what a bargain, right? ;)

2. Catrice Prime And Fine Highlighting Powder - 010 Fairy Dust

My favourite highlighter at the moment. It's a very light shimmery beige powder. I think it's perfect for everyday wear, because you get a lovely golden glow which looks amazing in the sun. You can also be reassured that you will not go overboard with it since it's quite light to apply, but you can definitely build it up. However if you want a really strong highlight, you'll be disappointed.

3. Essence "Road Trip" LE Highlighter - 01 Highway To Pretty

Another one that's not highly pigmented, but makes it easier to use especially for beginners. It's a pink highlighter with glitter, not a big fan to be honest.

4. Essence Soo Glow! Cream to Powder Highlighter - 10 Look On The Bright Side

As the name suggests it's a cream highlighter, yellowish colour. It's really pretty but it's quite white so it might not be suitable for all skin tones. Also blends nicely.

5. Essence "Urbaniced" LE Highlighter -  01 The Happy Direction

Highly pigmented highlighter with buttery texture. It's very appropriate for fair skin, because of it's light shade. It has however a floral scent to it and it's very noticable which I don't like at all.

6. Avon Blush & Bronze Trio

I bought this one mainly because of the concept of having 3 products in one which is very nice, especially for travelling. However I'm quite disappointed with it and I'm actually thinking of selling it. The highlighter is otherwise quite nice, but too glittery, even for me - and I love glitter! :D But the most disappointing thing about this product for me is that is has a strong scent and it almost makes me sick.. It's overwhelming really and I'm not reaching for this one just because of that fact. Too bad...

Well that's all guys,  this is the smallest part of my makeup collection :D

I hope you enjoyed,

Kisses,
Katja

Hey loves!

A little bit different post than usual but I thought why not, since finding a perfect wedding dress can be pretty hard! I thought I'll share with you some dresses from online store CocoMelody, I'm sure you've heard at least once about it already. Summer is already around the corner and there's a lot of couples getting married so take a look at the website if you're planning to do so - at least for some inspiration :) And there are also a lot of proms happening in a few months, so this information might come handy to some of you, since the store also has an amazing variety of prom and any other special event dresses. Btw, they do offer worldwide shipping!

Their dresses are unique and I like them a lot, I'm pretty sure if I ever get married, I'll check this store for sure. In addition the dress can be custom tailored, for your exact fit which is amazing and you don't have to worry about not fitting into it ;)

Their low back wedding dresses are stunning, my favourite must be this one:

It's so simple, yet pretty and very elegant. I would go bolder with the accessories ;)

You can also take a look at their backless gown collection, my top 3 favourite ones are:

They do have affordable prices but yet they're still always having amazing deals! At the moment they're running a deal where you get 25$ off wedding dresses that retail for more than 200$.

I hope you like my choices, and definitely check them out if you need a dress for a special event :)

Kisses,
Katja

New from Born Pretty Store*

Hey everyone :)

I was recently given an opportunity from Born Pretty Store again, to choose two items. Big thanks to the company! Born Pretty Store offers worldwide free shipping while they offer great deals and they have a big variety of different products, so it's definitely worth checking them out!

Two items were sent to me, but that doesn't affect my opinion, however the third item I'll show you I bought by myself :) It usually takes around 4-5 weeks to arrive to Slovenia and the package is always safely packed in a bubble wrap to prevent any damage.

The first item I chose is this cute ear shaped hair band :)

The "ears" are also decorated with pearls, it's such a cute touch and it makes the hair band even more special. It's made of a durable material and it's sturdy when it's stretched.

It retails for 1,99$ (currently it's on sale) and you can also get it in gold. You can find it here -> CLICK.

The second item that appealed to me was this minimalistic necklace. It caught my eye exactly because it's simple, yet pretty and looks good with anything you wear. You can either dress it up or down.

It's super light and elegant. It retails for 1,99$ (currently on sale) and you can also get it in silver -> CLICK.

The last item wasn't sent to me, I bought it by myself since I saw it was on sale and completely fell in love :) It's a fluorescent stud nail art decoration wheel :) I love doing nail art so these are a perfect addition!

They were 0,99$ but I don't think they sell them anymore, however you can get pretty similar ones here-> CLICK.

If you want to save even more money, you can use my code TJAT10, which is valid for all non-discounted items on Born Pretty Store

.

Thank you Born Pretty Store! I'm sure I'll get a lot of use out of these beauties :)

Kisses,
Katja

Avon Big & Multiplied Mascara - REVIEW

Hey loves :)

Today I have for you a review of the Avon's brand new mascara. They're launching this mascara in campaign 4 (Slovenia). It's a new launch in the line of Big &.. mascaras :) This one is called Big & Multiplied and it's supposed to be a volume mascara. The line of Big &.. consists of Big & Daring and Big & False Lash - both of which I'm very fond of, so I was very excited to try the new addition :)

What they say: "Achieve the ultimate look in lash fullness! Clump - and smudge free!"

I got mine in Black, but you can also get it in brown black. Here are the ingredients if anyone's interested:

The packaging is nice, looks similar to the other two Big &.. mascaras, except this one is in silver colour.

The wand is actually very different (than the others) and to be honest, not my favourite. You get 10 ml of product for 10,90€, but it will be on sale for 6,50€ (Slovenia!).

It's a nice mascara, I like the volume it gives my lashes, but it doesn't really live up to the claim of not clumping your lashes together. The Avon's mascaras or rather the Big &.. mascaras are actually very wet when you first buy/open them and I think that's the problem, because the clumping of the lashes happened to me with the other two versions also. You have to give it time, so it dries a little bit and then it performs at its best. At this time, I'm mostly using it in combination with other mascaras, because of the clumping.

I'll show you the results of the mascara, but first how my lashes look naturally - excuse the appearance since I wasn't wearing any other makeup ;)

One coat of mascara (without curling the lashes):

Two - three coats of mascara (without curling):

You can clearly see the clumping (and my enormous pores haha :D).. but I'm pretty sure it's because it's very wet, I'll make sure it dries a little bit. It really doesn't smudge at all, so that's nice for sure!

All in all I think it's another hit in the Big &.. range of mascaras. As I have mentioned before all of the mascaras in this range were too wet at the beginning, so make sure they dry a little bit and then they'll perform their best!

Have you tried this mascara? - let me know what you think :)

Kisses,
Katja
