LookFantastic Beauty Box - May

Hey guys :)

My LookFantastic beauty box for the month of May has arrived a few days ago. You can see what I got in the month of April here -> CLICK.

Again, I really like the design of this box as well as a previous one, so cute. This one is also quite bigger than all the other ones I got before, you'll see why soon ;) The theme for this month is "Get the glow".

Let's jump into it ;)


1. Mellow Baked Eyeshadow - Peach

Whichever colour you receive, your eyes will thank you for. The softly pigmented shadow gives a gorgeous shimmer for a bright and luminous finish.

2. Real Chemistry Luminous 3-Minute Peel

The Real Chemistry Peel gets your skin glowing thanks to it's unique blend of proteins that remove dead skin cells and leave you with a renewed complexion.

3. H20 Gradual Tan Mist

 

This fine mist hydrates and nourishes the skin, whilst also imparting a hint of colour for a sun-kissed finish.


4. System Professional Luxe Oil

The System Professional Luxe Oil is a potent elixir, enriched with a blend of oils to nourish and condition the hair.

5. Glov Hydro Demaquillage

The Glov Hydro Demaquillage is made from hypoallergenic fibers to gently remove makeup and impurities, and leave your skin healthy and glowing.

6. Scrub Love Coconut Cranberry Body Scrub

This natural exfoliant is formulated with 100% organic and roasted coffee, as well as coconut oil to gently smooth your skin. Oh, and it smells divine!

These are all the products that were inside my box, I'm totally loving it again! I already tried the Luxe oil and it made my hair super soft, plus the Mellow eyeshadow is very pretty - can also be used as a highlighter! For 20€ including free shipping these boxes have not failed me so far :)

Empties #30

Hey loves :)

Another month, another empties post :) Let's start!

Redken Heatcure Hair Treatment - I received this hair treatment in one of my LookFantastic beauty boxes. I recently decided to give it a try since it did seem quite an interesting product. I peeled the back panel and it started self heating - which I have never experienced before :D It left my hair feeling really soft and nice, but nothing special, I think I would have to use it more to see actual long lasting results. An interesting concept nonetheless and I'm glad I had the opportunity to try it.

Purchase: Probably no, because it's too expensive.

Fitoval Dermatological Shampoo (Dandruff) - the only shampoo that actually helps me with my dandruff problems. Unfortunately it's quite expensive as well - 200 ml for about 8€.

Repurchase: I will in the future.

Nivea Care & Cocoa shower gel -  the first Nivea shower gel that I really didn't like in terms of the scent. A nice shower gel otherwise, very moisturizing.

Repurchase: Not this scent.

Himalaya Herbals Aloe & Cucumber Refreshing Moisturizer - even though my boyfriend and I both used this moisturizer we had a hard time using it up. We really didn't like the scent of cucumbers unfortunately.

Repurchase: No.

Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation - 120 Vanilla - really liked this foundation. It was perfect for everyday wear. Also posted a review of it already here -> CLICK. This is probably the most natural, skin-like foundation that I've tried.

Repurchase: Maybe, currently I have way too many foundations.

Avon Perceive EDP - I wasn't really a fan of this fragrance so I'm glad it's empty. It's an oriental fragrance with white pepper and yellow freesia being top notes.

Repurchase: No.

Catrice Glam & Doll Volume Mascara - one of the rare mascaras that I really, really liked. It separated my lashes nicely and gave them a nice length. I'd totally recommend this one!

Repurchase: I have a backup already ;)

REVIEW: Deborah Fluid Velvet Mat Lipstick

Matte lipsticks are still totally in trend and I'm very much loving it :) When Deborah came out with their version of matte lipsticks I heard only great reviews, so when I had the chance to get them on sale, I decided to grab one. I bought mine in shade 05.

There are 9 colours available. The packaging is nothing special, transparent, so you can see the colour of the lipstick, with a black matte cap. 

The formula is initially very liquid, but it dries after a few seconds of applying and becomes completely opaque. I really love the fact that it feels very comfortable on the lips, it doesn't feel like you're wearing a matte lipstick - which is rare since they usually feel quite drying.

These cost around 11€ and the amount of product you get for the price is unfortunately not specified. I also love that it's kiss-proof plus it lasts a long time unless if you're eating of course :) It also can be easily buildable and it still looks nice.

My cat made an appearance :P

Love the colour that I got which is a fuchsia kind of shade, but I'd love to get one of the nudes next time.

REVIEW: This Works Stress Check Breathe In

Hey guys :)

I'm presenting you today another product that I got in my LookFantastic beauty box. It has been nothing but a pleasure to be introduced to such amazing brands/products.

I got a This Works Stress Check Breathe In - an aroma - therapeutic roller ball. There are fragrances that lift our mood by taking us on a tropical vacation or make us smile by conjuring up the smell of homemade cookies. And then, there are fragrances that rely on cold, hard science to improve our day. 

The notes of this fragrance are: lavender, eucalyptus and frankincense. Research has shown that lavender eases anxiety, and that it's relaxing effect helps people complete tasks faster and more accurately. 

I have to say I didn't use it in stressful situations yet since I tend to not carry it with me, but I do use it at evenings before I go to sleep. I roll it over my wrists and temples and it really helped me to relax and sleep better.

 I didn't use any product like this before so I wasn't really expecting it to work but it definitely does. Exciting!

If you love the scent of Lavender and you're in need of something to relax you, I'd totally recommend this :)
