Luke Charcoal Nose Cleansing Strips - step by step

Hi everyone :)

This will be a step by step explanation of how to use Luke charcoal nose cleansing strips. If you haven't heard about them, it's because it is a Korean brand. I got this pack as a gift when I bought the Etude House nose strips and man, I'm really impressed. (the results are at the end of the post)

The ingredients are: charcoal, vitamin E, Aloe Vera extract, Green Tea extract and Hamamelis Virgiana extract.

When you open the pack the nose strip looks like that (the upper picture) and than you have to peel the patch from the plastic liner.

Next you have to spray water 2 or 3 times lightly on the smooth side. I used Mixa facial spray, because it's basically just water. I have to warn you, the smell isn't that nice, but it didn't bother me very much.

Then you apply it to the nose area, smooth side down, pressing down to ensure good contact with skin and that's basically it. You just let it dry for about 20 - 30 minutes and then peel it off.

I had to include the results, because no other nose strips have worked this good for me, so if you are uncomfortable seeing that, click away :D I'm not gonna lose any more words, you'll see for yourself :) btw, my skin was not dry after this.

The results really are fantastic and I have to buy myself more! However, I haven't tried the Etude House ones, I hope they'll be as good as these.

I got them from Ebay, this seller: k-beautybox; the pack of 3 Luke strips is 2,49$.

I hope you enjoyed this post, and let me know if you tried this nose strips.

Kisses,
Katja

Favourite Perfume: Avon Cherish

Hey loves :)

Today I'll write about my favourite perfume at the moment, which is Avon Cherish. I bought a sample of this one and completely fell in love with it, so I had to order it immediately in the next campaign :)

I bought myself a 30 ml bottle, because it was on sale for about 4€, which is far cheaper as their standard bottle, 50 ml costs around 19,90€. Quick tip for those of you who are on the budget ;) Of course the bottle isn't as pretty as the standard one, but I don't really care about that, as long as the scent is the same :P

Cherish is quite a new perfume, it was launched in 2015 and the fragrance is delicate floral, made of Sambac jasmine, sandalwood and white musk. It is available as a 50 ml Eau de Parfum and 30 ml Eau de Parfum.

I usually don't like floral scents, but this one is really nice. The only con is the lasting power, it doesn't last very long, so be prepare to spray it throughout the day, if you don't want the scent to completely disappear.

It's supposedly a very close cousin to Estee Lauder's Modern Muse, I can't say for sure because I don't own the Modern Muse :)

I'd say anyone should this give one a try, order a sample, and see if you like it, as I said before, I usually don't like floral scents, but this one really is a nice and safe musky white floral.

I hope you enjoyed, and let me know if you tried this perfume ;)

Till next time, Kisses,
Katja

First Impressions: Avon Colortrend Shimmer Tips Mascara

Hey loves :)

I haven't written a first impressions post in sooo long, I feel ashamed now :P So let's just start, shall we? ;) This will be a first impressions post about Avon's Colortrend newest addition - shimmer tips mascara.

This product caught my eye because I have a similar product from Oriflame, but it was a limited edition and I really wanted backup. However, I don't think this one is as good as the other one.

It's in shade Gold Foil - which is basically a golden shimmer. There's also a silver version.

I really, really hate the fact that there isn't a proper brush and it's just one of those grooved stick type applicators which I find difficult to use. I like the glitter but it almost doesn't matter if the brush is crap. :/

They claim that this mascara is for a darker, glossier look - which makes me laugh, a lot :D Because there is no way this could make your lashes darker or glossier as it is glitter only.

I really hoped this would be a great product and honestly, I'm disappointed. That's the way it goes, right? Never get your hopes up ;) If the brush was a proper one, I'd be thrilled, but maybe it's just me, who knows :P

I hope you enjoyed and let me know if you tried this product ;)

Kisses,
Katja
