First Impressions: Avon Ultra Beauty Lip Stylo

Hi cuties! :)

Today I'll share with you my first impressions on Avon Ultra Beauty Lip Stylo

You can get in the campaign 5 for 4,50€.

The packaging is nice, however nothing special, black plastic, that is travel friendly, because it's very slim. You get 1,8g of product.

There are ten shades available and I bought it in shade Rose Creme. Coverage is about medium, but you can build it up. It's very creamy, however the staing power is not that great.. It lasts on my lips about 2 hours, if not even less, without drinking and eating of course.

I expected this shade too be more wearable shade, because of the colour in the catalogue, which was more rosy. So I would recommend everyone to order samples before the full size, to see if you actually like the colour, because they are a bit different than in the catalogue.

On my lips it actually looks  more orangey colour.. All in all my first impressions of this lip stylo are not great, and I'm quite disappointed with it. It's not very pricey but for this money you can definitely get better lipsticks.

Have you tried it, what do you think? :)

First Impressions: Avon Ideal Flawless - Cream Concealer

Hi everyone!

Today I'll talk about my first impressions on Avon Ideal Flawless Cream Concealer, which is fairly new.

I actually bought it when it was on sale in a set with a concealer brush and it was 6.90€ (for Avon's members only). However, it's not in the catalogue yet, I think it comes in campaign 6.

Although it doesn't have a mirror, the packaging is nice. It's also small, so very appropriate for bags:)

There are however only two shades to chose from - Fair and Medium. I got it in the fair, which is the lightest shade and it is a bit lighter than my skintone, however I'm still very happy with it because it brightens my face nicely.

As the name implies it is a creamy concealer. It's very soft and very pigmented so a little goes a long way ;) Avoid putting too much product or it will set in the fine lines and wrinkles.
The coverage is pretty amazing too, it's about medium to full.

Overall, I'm very happy with it and I really recommend it.

Oh and finally, the concealer brush is pretty amazing too. I was afraid it's gonna be too soft, but it is perfect for  applying concealer!

Thank you so much for reading and if you tried this product, let me know what do you think about it in the comments bellow! :)

(oh and I reached 50 followers - YAY, THANKS!, so expect a giveaway in the future;))

Empties #4

Hello everyone :)

Today I'll show you my empties post #4. The last one was about two months ago, so there's quite a lot of things :)

Let's just start.

Avon Senses Mood Therapy Moisturising Shower Creme (with shea butter extract) - well this I had for a very long time, it lasted extremely long because it's a 500 ml bottle plus it had a creamy texture and you really don't need a lot of product per shower. I wasn't super excited about it, but it was an average shower gel. The smell is okay, to me it smelled something like vanilla, but it was gone very soon.

Repurchase: Probably not, just because I like to try different shower gels.

Oriflame Sweden Be Mine Soap Bar - this was a limited edition soap bar, so I don't know if it is available anymore or not. I always buy soap bars from Oriflame because they smell amazing.

Repurchase: Not this one.

Avon Advance Techniques Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo - loved this one. Made my hair very soft and smelled nice at the same time. The price is also great, so yeah.. :P

Repurchase: Yes.

Balea Gesichts Wasser - this is a face water with fruit acid for mixed skin and I talked about it quite a few times now :P I think it's a great product, I use it at evenings to remove makeup and it works better than regular removers, probably because of the acid it contains.

Repurchase: I did already :)

Oriflame Sweden 2 in 1 Cleanser - well this product however I did not like. It had a very creamy texture and somehow did not work for my skin, not even as a cleanser.

Repurcase: No.

Balea Romantic Star Deospray - nice smell, but a limited edition. And I still didn't like it as much as my regular, Balea Dry deospray.

Repurchase: No.

Jean Marc La Belle - the smell was nice, very strong, but didn't last long.. Maybe two hours, if even that..

Repurchase: Nop.

Balea Himbeere & Zitronengras Deo roll-on - this was a nice deo roll-on, had a nice fresh smell, but I think it was discontinued (I'm not sure)

Repurchase: Discontinued, so no.

Nuxe Paris Anti-imperfection care - I had this sample for quite some time, and I finally decided to use it. It was enough of product for a couple of uses and I must say I quite liked it. It did moisturize my skin and I think my otherwise extremely large pores looked less visible. The only thing I did not like at first was the smell (smells something like rice..) and I had to get used to it.

Purchase: no, just because of the price :(

One Nail Enamel - this nail polish was a clear one and I got it as a gift when I bought a magazine. (Actually I bought a magazine because I was in need of a clear polish :D) An average clear nail polish, nothing suprising.

Repurchase: No.

Essence Studio Nails Nail Polish Corrector Pen - works great for removing nailpolish off your cuticles and so..

Repurchase: I did already.

Avon Extralasting Eyeshadow Pencil - I got it second hand and omg I did not like it at all.

Repurchase: Definitely no.

Avon Naturals vanilla Lip Balm - it did smell like a vanilla and I liked it. But it did not moisturize my lips as much as I'd want to.

Repurchase: Nop, I'm sticking to my Burt's bees Lip balm :)

Catrice Prime and Fine Smoothing Refiner - this product did not do anything to my skin. I used it also in the summer, and the only thing I think this product did, was my makeup lasted longer. Apart from that... nothing.

Repurchase: No!

Well that's it, we've come to the end. I hope you enjoyed, if you tried any of these product, let me know your opinion! :)

xoxo,
Katja

REVIEW: Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer - 101 Celestial

Hi cuties :)

Today I have for you a review of one of my favorite lip products :)

This is Rimmel London Apocalips Lip Lacquer in 101 Celestial. The packaging is very stylish diamond cut styled tube. It's a long wearing product, but it doesn't make my lips too dry. It settles into a matte finish about an hour after the application and the colour stays on me for 5-6 hours. However, it's not transfer-proof.

It's very pigmented and is opaque in a single swipe. Celestial is a dusty pink - one of the more wearable shades from the range.

I recommend this to everyone, it's an amazing product. The one thing I really don't like is the smell, which is extremely unpleasent (at least for me) and it almost makes me sick when I'm applying it. But after the application, the smell is gone.

PROS:
- beautiful colour
- stylish and sturdy packaging
- wearable shade
- very pigmented
- lasts quite decently

CONS:
- unpleasent smell

Do you have this product, what do you think? :) Let me know in the comments bellow! ;)

xoxo,
Katja

Hello cuties :) New favorites post is here ;)

NAILS

Avon Stardust nail polish in Teal Glitter is just georgeous.. It has a slight sand effect. I wanted to buy more shades, but somehow I just didn't see it in the catalogue anymore.. I hope they'll bring them back. I showed you this one already in my NOTD post -> HERE

FACE

This is Balea face water with fruit acid and it's suppose to clean your face & make your pores look less visible.. It's for mixed skin. I must say, this product is pretty amazing. This is already my second bottle :) I use it at evenings, when I clean my makeup off and it really does better job at removing makeup than regular removers I have. Oh and the price? 0,99€ for 200ml. :)
Here are the ingredients if anyone's interested:

The next face product I enjoyed this month the most is this G-E-O-R-G-E-O-U-S :P Essence Duo Blush from their limited edition Like An Unforgettable Kiss, which is still available in stores. I bought it in 01 Nothing but lovestoned.

Yeah you're thinking right.. the packaging looks like a packaging from Two faced, which is an expensive high end brand. I think Essence did a great job on this blush. The pigmentation is a bit light, however you can build it up. It's really nice, also appropriate for beginners with makeup, because of it's light pigmentation, you can't go overboard :)

EYES

Catrice Absolute Matt eyeshadow palette has been my the most used palette this month :)  The two light shades however don't show up that well and have to be layered a bit- but the light matte shades mostly don't show up that nicely on skin. The other darker colours are very pigmented. I was afraid that there would be fallout on my cheeks while applying, however, I was wrong and I have no fall-out problems.

I hope you enjoyed! ;)

Katja
