Ebay Finds #6

Hey loves :3

Today I want to show you some of my finds on Ebay. I've done a few posts like this already, you can see my previous one here -> CLICK.

The first item I found is a Dragon Star Velour Liquid Lipstick, which is obviously a replica of Jeffree Star liquid lipstick :)

I got mine in shade 13 Gold. The colour really caught my eye because I really wanted to see how it would look on me. I combine it with another lipstick, usually with an orangey one, it creates a beautiful effect!

Looks pretty amazing. I got mine on auction for 1,25$.

The next item I found is a Harry Potter colouring book. I love Harry Potter and I love colouring books so this one was a win-win for me :D

It's a nice colouring book, has quite a lot of pictures.

It's not one of my favourites but definitely a must have for Harry Potter lovers ;) I got mine on auction for 3,60$.

And the last but not the least is an eyeshadow palette, replica from Huda Beauty.

The colours are really nice and quite pigmented actually. But it's not a great replica by no means. I was especially excited to see the shade 24K, but it's nowhere near the original shade, which is more golden than yellow.

I will use it definitely because of the great pigmentation. I got mine on auction for 6,50$ which is a fair price.

That's all for this finds guys. What's your favourite product? ;)

Kisses,
Katja

REVIEW: Oriflame Royal Velvet Firming Eye Contour Cream

Hey loves :)

I recently started getting into eye creams and this eye contour cream from Oriflame really caught my eye. The Royal Velvet range offers a rich and sensual formula infused with iris flower to firm, strengthen and intensely hydrate your skin.

This range targets women over 40 years, but I don't mind using it, it's never too early to start with an eye creams to prevent any wrinkles because using just the moisturizer isn't enough to hide any signs of aging ;)

Here are the ingredients if anyone's interested.

I really like the packaging, gold and violet make it seem more luxurious.

The texture of this product is creamy but very light and it's quickly absorbed so after a few moments my skin feels dry. I prefer more moisturizing creams.

All in all to see more effect I have to use it longer. I've been using it for about a month but I don't see any results yet. I'll update you for sure ;)

What eye creams do you recommend?

Kisses,
Katja

REVIEW: Catrice Instant Lipstick Mattifier

Hey loves :3

Catrice is becoming well know for being up-to-date with the latest makeup trends. Their latest release for Spring/Summer 2017 includes Instant lipstick mattifier 010 Matt is more. The Matte lipstick trend is still going very strong, so wouldn’t it be great if we could make our favorite glossy lipsticks matte with the help of Catrice Instant Mattifier?

It comes in a small glass pot with a screw on black top. You get 5 grams of product.

It has no specific scent and it looks clear on the skin and texture feels like a silicone primer.

I have to say I really, really wanted this product to work, but unfortunately it doesn't. It looks patchy and shinier than before. I think the problem lies in the formulation.

It's really a shame because the product is very innovative and could be amazing! I wouldn't recommend it by any means, or maybe just if you want your lips glossier ;)

Have you tried this product, what do you think?

Kisses,
Katja

Empties #28

Hey everyone :)

Another month passed so here are the products I emptied ;)

MojDan 3 in 1 Cleansing Wipes - these are nice affordable cleansing wipes. I love using them when I'm too lazy to properly remove my makeup :P

Repurchase: Sure.

Balea Pflegende 3 in 1 ReinigungsTucher - another very affordable wipes that do their job just fine. I prefer the micellar ones from Balea, but these are not bad.

Repurchase: Maybe.

Balea Streichelzarte Pflege - I used this one as a moisturizer before applying my foundation. For the price it works nice, but it doesn't work miracles.

Repurchase: Maybe.

Avon Senses Citrus Zing Shower Gel - not my favourite scent from Avon, but it was ok, quite refreshing.

Repurchase: Probably no.

Subrina Cherry Blossom Shower Gel - if you've been my regular reader you know I adore this scent. It smells so nice and I absolutely love the fact that the scent lingers on my skin for quite some time after the shower. Love it!

Repurchase: I did already.

Balea Mizellen Reinigungs Wasser - it works nice for the price.

Repurchase: Currently I have a micellar water from Loreal but afterwards maybe.

Balea Hibiskusblute Deodorant - I really like Balea deodorants and I always seem to buy it because of the great price point and because of the fact that they work awesome!

Repurchase: Different scent.

That's all for this month guys, have a lovely day!

Katja

REVIEW: Model Co Eyelites Metallic Eyeshadow

Hey loves :)

Today I'll review a product that I got in my first LookFantastic beauty box, it was in the month of February. I'm talking about the Model Co eyelites metallic eyeshadow.

This came in the shade St Barts which is sort of a mix of copper and gold in colour. It has a pretty metallic finish to give eyes a luxurious look. I’m loving the metallic makeup trend at the minute and this happens to be one of my favourite colours.

I’m not a fan of lipgloss stick applicators so I use an eyeshadow brush to apply it easier. his eye shadow applies in liquid form and takes a few minutes to dry. Once fully dry it feels like any other powdered eye shadow but it has such an iridescent glow that I have never been able to get with another eye shadow. The eye shadow lasts perfectly for the whole day, but removes easily with an oil cleanser.

The only bad thing I found about this product is that Look Fantastic do not stock it and neither do Model Co so I assume we got an early release sample or it sold out.

I'm very pleased with this product, let me know what do you think :)

Kisses,
Katja

LookFantastic Beauty Box - March

Hey guys :)

Last month I ordered myself a first beauty box ever, from Lookfantastic. You can see my unboxing here -> CLICK. I was very pleased with the value of products I got so I decided to get it another time. This time the box was created with Elle magazine :) Most of the items I haven't tried yet, so this is just a review of the subscription box, not the products.

We received a box of 6 premium beauty treats.

When you first open the box you see a flyer in it. It basically tells you something about the products that are inside, I really like that so you can read how to use them and what purpose they serve.

So these are the products inside the box.

1. SkinChemists 24h Aqua Repair Facial Serum

The SkinChemists 24-hour Aqua repair facial serum is packed with active ingredients that are rich in vitamins and antioxidants, which work to promote healthy skin, improve it's natural firmness and stimulate renewal for a brighter, smoother complexion. Plus, it's gentle formula is suitable for all skin types.

2. St. Tropez Instant Gloss

This gorgeous tan finishing product was first seen coming off the London catwalks of SS17, making it one of this year's most coveted and fashionable products. The high gloss formula can either be used to enhance an existing tan, or on it's own for a boost of colour and shine.

3. Starskin Eye Catcher Smoothing Bio-Cellulose Second Skin Eye Masks

Eye masks are a key skincare trend for 2017, and this one from Starskin might just be one of our favourites. Rich in coconut juice and Liquorice root extract, each mask is soaked in a host of vitamins to reduce dark circles and fine lines, while Chamomile works to reduce any puffiness.

4. Caudalie Vine Active 3 in 1 Moisturizer

This lightweight cream is perfect for adding essential moisture and hydration into the skin, to balance the complexion and deliver a natural and healthy glow. It contains unique anti-pollution technology that helps to keep the skin clean and clear, blocking pollution particles that  could potentially cause damage, including accelerated skin ageing.

5. Pür Minerals Disappearing Act Concealer

This lightweight yet powerful concealer helps to hide dark circles, blemishes and signs of redness thanks to it's unique formula. Paraben - free, and blended with Retinol, Ceramides and Salicylic Acid, it evens out skin tone and fights blemishes at their source, to leave you with a radiant complexion.

And the last item we got I completely forgot to take pictures of :D It's taken from Amazon.com, but this is the same product we got in the box ;)

6. Redken Heatcure Treatment

This salon quality, at-home treatment hair mask is perfect for those whose tresses are in need of some attention. It's unique formula heats up as it works magic, leaving you with beautifully soft, conditioned and smooth locks.

And that's it guys. I think this box was amazing as well as a previous one and I'm sure I'll get it again next month. It's amazing for the price, which is 20€ with included free shipping.

Let me know what you think ;)
Kisses,
Katja
