New From Sammydress*

Let's just start ;) The first item I chose was this pullover:

The material is really soft but I have to say it's not very thick so you definitely have to wear a jacket or something thicker over it for the colder months. It's available in 5 different colours and I chose mine in deep blue. I have to say the colour looks darker online, but I prefer it like this, it looks better to me :)

Than the first item my sister chose for herself is also a hoodie:

This one in comparison to the one I chose is very thick and appropriate for fall/winter. Unfortunately this one is sold out on the website.

The second item I chose for myself is a plaid blouse:

I really like this one since you can definitely dress it up or down. I wore it with leggings like a mini dress and I find it looked quite nice, let me know what you think :)

And the last item I actually chose myself, but it didn't fit me since the material is linen, so it's not stretchy at all (look at the materials when ordering) and fits my sister nicely so I decided to give it to her :) It's an elephant print shirt:

I really like the pattern and the shirt looks so chic. I got it in 2XL but because the material is linen it fits my sister and she usually wears S/M (European size), so check the material before ordering  :)

Hangover with Zaful*

Hey everyone :)

REVIEW: Essence "Me & My Umbrella" LE - Eyebrow Thickener

Hello everyone :)

I'll write about a product from the Essence's limited edition called Me & My Umbrella. I'm late to the party but guess what, you can still find the collection at some stores :) I'll review an eyebrow thickener, but you can see what the collection consists of here -> click.

A whole collection was very interesting but I only decided to buy the eyebrow thickener. It comes in two shades for blondes and brunettes, I picked the one for brunettes - 02 Walking on the rainbow.

It's basically an eyebrow powder with integrated applicator. It costs 2,49€ and you get 1g of product. To be honest I find the shade quite dark. I have medium brown hair and I really have to work with it so it looks nice. It would suit girls with dark brown or black hair more.

The applicator takes a lot of product so I always remove it a little bit, because it's just way too much otherwise. It does really thickens brows and that's what I love the most about this product.

When I have time to work with it, I like it because it really nicely thickens my brows. However if you're always in a hurry I don't think that's a product for you.

Here's how my brows look with it:

To conclude, I would recommend this product to anyone who has time to work with it :D It gives nice thickness but you have to be careful with a colour match as well.

Dress To Impress with Zaful*

I got an opportunity to work with a company called Zaful. I think a lot of you know this store already, but I'll introduce you to them anyway :) Zaful is an online shop for trendy, quality yet affordable clothing, shoes, jewelry and accessories. The shipping takes anywhere from 7-25 business days but of course you can pay extra for express shipping if you're in a hurry :) They also offer a point system (Z points) that can be redeemed as cash off your future purchases. 

Since this is another Asian based website I really recommend measuring yourself since their sizes run small and based on their measurement chart select your size. I chose three items, two for myself and one is actually for my sister. The last one will be posted in a separate post since it hasn't arrived yet :)

First Impressions: Dr. Pierre Ricaud Mono Eyeshadows

Hi everyone :)

Today I'll share with you my first impressions on the two mono eyeshadows from Dr. Pierre Ricaud. I bought mine second hand in shades Prune Moirée and Vert de Jude.

These are beautiful shimmery eyeshadows, really smooth and very pigmented. I have to say the rosy shade isn't as pigmented on the eyes as with finger swatches, but it's buildable. 

The first shade - Prune Moirée is a shimmery rose and the second one -  Vert de Jude is a beautiful blueish green. I've been on a hunt for this kind of shade for a long time since I own a similar one from Oriflame, but it was a limited edition and it's not available anymore.

All in all I'd definitely recommend these, especially the green one since it's something special and unique! As far as the lasting power goes, I've used both of these a few times now and I noticed the green one lasted longer.

Today I'll show you products I finally managed to use up ;)

Balea After Sun Dusche - I repurchased this shower gel a few times now. I'm in love with the scent, smells like coconuts and reminds me of summer <3

Repurchase: Definitely in the future.

Subrina Cherry Blossom Shower Gel - Somehow I always have a bottle of this in my empties haha :D I love it, such a nice cherry blossom scent that lingers on my skin for quite a while. Amazing and I'd definitely recommend trying it!

Repurchase: Yes!

Oriflame Love Nature Gel Mask - with cucumber for combination skin. I did enjoy it, my skin was very refreshed after using it, but it does smell like cucumbers so if you don't like the scent of them it may bother you.

Repurchase: Maybe

Balea Peel Off Mask - I didn't like it since it really burned my skin and my eyes. Would not recommend for sensitive skin especially.

Repurchase: No.

Balea Paradise Island LE Mask - My skin felt refreshed after using it and I felt really relaxed because of the scent. I liked it.

Repurchase: It was limited edition but if I can find it again than yes.

Miss Sporty So Matte Perfect Stay (01 Light) - I really liked this foundation because it was truly matte. The coverage wasn't anything special, about medium I'd say but it was very nice for summer.

Repurchase: Not at the moment.

La Roche Posay Effaclar Mat - I did a review for this product once (click) but I didn't like it, it actually didn't do anything to my skin. Well, after that I did give it another go and I really enjoyed it. I used it everyday in the morning before applying my makeup and I think the foundation looked better and my skin looked better as well! Somehow it didn't work with every foundation I own, but it did with the majority.

Repurchase: Probably!

Oriflame Body Cream with cucumber & bur marigold - has a strong cucumber scent that I didn't like at all so I gave this cream to my boyfriend. He said that he didn't mind the smell but the cream just wasn't as moisturizing as he would want (he likes Nivea standard cream for example).

Repurchase: No.

Avon Nutra Effects Micellar Cleansing Water - I did a first impressions post on this one (click) and my opinion hasn't changed. It's an average micellar water, it didn't fully remove my makeup so I wasn't really satisfied with it. For example I have Balea micellar water now it works much better!

Repurchase: No.

Avon Supershock Mascara (black) - I did like it because it separated my lashes nicely. Otherwise I always use 3-4 mascaras on my lashes since I like a bold look :) Oh and this was a limited edition packaging - so pretty!

Repurchase: Maybe in the future.

Prestige My Biggest Lashes Mascara (black) - I liked it for volume, otherwise it was nothing special at all.

Repurchase: No.

Alessandro Nail Polish (Dark Denim) - a dark blue colour. I liked it, but it was nothing unique. You can see my NOTD with it here -> click.

Repurchase: No.

Avon Extralasting Lip Gloss (Neverending Nude) - really enjoyed this one. It lasted longer on my lips than usual lip glosses and it was a pretty shimmery nude colour.

Repurchase: Discontinued.

Avon Femme EDP - I did like the scent, it was floral and fruity. It just didn't last on my for very long time.

Repurchase: Not sure, maybe if it's on sale.
