Lately I've been absolutely obsessed with liquid lipsticks and so many brands have decided to release their own take and version on it. I heard a lot about Colourpop but never before tried anything from them so I decided to get this ultra matte lip - liquid lipstick in shade Solow.
It comes in a white box that has "ultra matte lip" printed on it in holographic letters. The name of the lipstick is also printed on the box, but at the bottom.
If anyone's interested in ingredients:
It comes with a doe foot applicator. I bought mine in shade Solow which is described as a neutral nude pink. Keep in mind that it would look different on different skin colours.
I have to say it's very drying, which is expected from matte liquid lipsticks. I would definitely recommend using a lip balm before applying it! However it's very pigmented and is opaque in one coat only.
It's also cruelty-free and I didn't notice any scent to it which I really like, since some products can be just too overpowering. It dries quickly but that's also a con since you do not have much time to apply it.
You can see how dry it is on the picture above - it's applied without the lip balm underneath. It does survive drinking with minimal transfer.
PROS:
- very pigmented and opaque in one coat
- easy to use but dries very quick
- light on the lips
- minimal transfer
- cruelty and scent-free
CONS:
- very drying
- dries quickly
Overall I like the colour and the fact that it has nice staying power. It's comfortable to wear on the lips but I would definitely recommend wearing lip balm underneath before applying because there's a risk of making your lips extremely dry. Adding that little bit of moisture will help avoid the product completely sinking into the lines of your lips.

Odtenek je zelo všečen in velik plus je, da ima tako dobro pigmentacijo. Tekoče šminke so mi zelo privlačne, čeprav ponavadi skoraj vse izsušijo ustnice- ampak samo poglej rezultate! :D xx

Oh kako pa lep odtenek, takoj bi ga imela.Tako dolgo že sanjam to znamko in gledam in brskam in res bi imela neki od njih. Samo sem videla kako draga je poštnina, pa ne vem a se izplača. Tebe je prišlo dosti vse skupaj s carino vred in temi podobnimi rečmi.
