REVIEW: Tarte Glistening Powder / Blogmas Day 19

Tarte is a brand that I've been wanting to try some products for a long time. I finally bought a cosmetic bag and a glistening powder, which I'm gonna review in this blog post :)

A glistening powder can be used as a shimmer powder, highlighter or an eyeshadow. I got mine in shade Sugar Daddy.

What they say: "Strut your stuff with a sophisticated shimmer. Sugar Daddy's sparkling pink champagne hue highlights eyes and cheekbones with stunning results. ** This shimmering loose pigment that can be used on the cheeks, eyes and all over the face. It makes a gorgeous shimmery eye shadow!"

It's very shimmery and sparkly, I love it! The colour Sugar Daddy is a shimmering nude/champagne with a slight pink undertone, but very neutral. It's not a terribly unique colour, nor is it anything special, but I do like it a lot.

I didn't buy myself a full size product, just because I didn't know if I would like it. However the price of the full size product is very high, about 40$, but it would probably last you a very long time.

I mostly use this on my body, but I have used it as an eyeshadow and as a cheekbone highlighter. It's very versatile.

The only con is the packaging; it's really hard not to make a mess when the lid screws on. 

PROS:

- multi purpose product

- a little goes a long way

- beautiful colour

CONS:

- bad packaging

- very expensive

All in all, I would recommend this product, I love that it is a multi purpose product. Considering that it can be used as an highlighter, eyeshadow or a powder, the price isn't even that expensive.
