REVIEW: Wet N Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Trio - I'm getting sunburned

First of all, thank you for all the support lately, I've gained a lot of new followers (welcome;)) and thanks for all the lovely comments <3

Today it's all about the Wet N Wild color icon eyeshadow trio. It's my first ever eyeshadow palette from Wet N Wild and let me tell you, I was very surprised. I got mine in I'm getting sunburned, you get three shadows, 3.5g of product.

Well, to be honest, I was at first quite intimidated by the colours since I wasn't sure they'll go well together. Wet n Wild doesn't give names to the colours but they do identify where you should place the shadow. 

The palette comes with a sponge tip applicator and a tiny brush. 

The trio consists of :

- a shimmery pink (for the brow bone)

- a dark chocolate brown (for the crease)

- a shimmery gold (for the eyelid)

The eyelid shade is a beautiful shimmery warm gold bronze, which has a very metallic finish. The crease shade is a matte, very dark chocolate brown with a rose sheen and bronze shimmer. It's the most pigmented shade in this trio, so be careful :) The brow bone colour is a frosty pink with shimmer.

Used together they create a beautiful summery look! Of course you can use them separately as well and come up with your own looks :)

The shadows are soft and buttery, however the dark brown does require a bit more work due to it's finish and pigmentation. If I apply an eyeshadow primer, these last on me all day without creasing, and keep in mind I have oily lids.The only thing I'm not too fond of is the fallout, but because the palette is so affordable and the shadows give such great pigmentation, I don't mind it.

To conclude this trio consists of three shadows that are creamy, buttery and all in all easy to blend. They have good colour payoff and very good staying power as well! :)

REVIEW: Avon Liquid Chrome Eyeliner - Bronze

Hello everyone :)

I'm back with my usual beauty product review hehe ;) Today it's all about the Avon's new product - Liquid Chrome Eyeliner. It's available in six different shades - black, blue, bronze, amber, plum and silver. I bought mine in bronze, because I was on a hunt for the perfect bronze coloured eyeliner to replace my favourite of all the time - Essence bronze eyeliner from the limited edition Beach Cruisers.

If anyone's interested in ingredients:

I really like the packaging, it's a black bottom with a coloured top - depending on the colour you buy your eyeliner :) It's nice so you can clearly see what colour is it.

It currently costs 4,90€, but Avon always has sales going on. You get 1 ml of product. It has a standard applicator which is sturdy and it's very easy to use. 

I have to honestly say I absolutely love it. It's the perfect bronze colour I was looking for and it's a great replacement for my Essence one that's not available anymore. You can achieve very thin lines with it if you want, plus the metalic effect and the different colours available make it really fun :)

The product is liquid when it applies and I have to say I do have to put two layers on, because it can be a little bit streaky, but nothing you can't work with. It definitely gives you time to tidy up any errors but once it's dry it does not budge! I think it's perfect when you want the makeup to last all day :)

I really like it a lot and I will probably get some more bright colours :)

Sammydress haul*

Today's post is something a little bit different too and it's actually my first clothing haul! :D are you excited? ;)

An online store Sammydress.com contacted me if I wanted a cooperation with them and I agreed, so here we go ;) These items were sent to me for free, however the opinions are totally my own, honest opinions. I chose three items that I thought would look great :) see for yourself ;) Big thank you to the company!

What I'd say first is that please measure yourself before ordering things in your regular size, since the company is based in China and the sizes do vary. For instance, I usually wear t-shirts in the size L/XL, however I had to get up a few sizes here.

The first item I chose is a casual t-shirt:

It's just a black t-shirt with a white letter print on it. It's really comfortable, soft and feels really nice quality. I do like it a lot.

I got mine in 2XL and as you can see it fits more loose which I prefer with my shirts. It's on sale for 20,41$ and you can get it here -> CLICK.

The second item I chose is another t-shirt:

You can probably see how much I love black ;) Another shirt that feels just as good as the first one, it's the same nice quality material.

And the last shirt I chose is my favourite of them all because of the off the shoulder design which is very popular right now :)

I like the fact that you can dress it up or down. Feels nice, great quality again :)

REVIEW: PÜR GUM Spearmint

Hello everyone :)

Today's review is a little bit different than usual, but I wanted to write it, hope some of you will enjoy it :) I'll be writing about the chewing gums, yes, chewing gums :D

Why I wanted to write this review? Because this chewing gums are special - they are VEGAN, NUT FREE, DIABETIC FRIENDLY, SOY FREE, GLUTEN FREE, NON-GMO and the most important to me - ASPARTAME FREE. See for yourself, basically all the chewing gums in stores contain Aspartame!

I actually got mine for free because I liked a photo on the companies Facebook page, but they didn't know I have a blog, so nobody expected a review from me ;) This needed to be said, so you understand this is my honest opinion :) For Slovenian readers, you can buy it on Kama.si and they cost 1,85€ for a pack of 9 gums.

Since I know about the dangers of Aspartame, I'm constantly avoiding it, which is to be honest quite hard, since it is everywhere. Read this article -  (a teen might have died because of chewing gum):

What is Aspartame? It's one of the most common artificial sweeteners in use today. It's used in many foods and beverages because it is about 200 times sweeter than sugar, so much less of it can be used to give the same level of sweetness. Whenever product is labeled "sugar free" that usually means it has an artificial sweetener in place of sugar.

Aspartame accounts for over 75% of the adverse reactions to food additives  (reported to the FDA). Many of these reactions are VERY serious, including seizures and death!

Part of the Aspartame dangers are: headaches/migraines, dizziness, seizures, nausea, numbness, muscle spasms, weight gain, rashes, depression, fatigue, irritability, tachycardia, insomnia, vision problems, hearing loss, heart palpitations, breathing difficulties, anxiety attacks, slurred speech, loss of taste, ...

The following chronic illnesses can also be triggered by the use of Aspartame: brain tumors, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, chronic fatigue syndrome, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's, mental retardation, lymphoma, birth defects, ...

Back to the chewing gums ;) Me and my boyfriend both tested them and we agree that it tastes like a regular chewing gum, nothing is off with the taste because it doesn't contain all the bad ingredients ;) I got the mint flavour and I like the fresh breath it gives, however it does lose the taste after about an hour, but to be honest that's the same with all chewing gums.

These contain only 6 ingredients:  Xylitol (which looks and tastes identical to sugar and is proven to promote oral health by reducing cavities by 33% with regular use and also contains 40% less calories than table sugar), Gum Base, Gum Arabic, Natural Flavors, Carnauba Wax, Tocopherols.

To conclude, Aspartame is one of the most toxic sweeteners put into our food today and I am tired of paying companies to poison me! The PÜR GUM chewing gums are an awesome alternative to the regular chewing gums and I would totally recommend them to everyone! I can't wait to get more flavours :)

REVIEW: L.A. Girl Matte Flat Finish Pigment Gloss

Today's review is about another liquid lipstick that I decided to buy. I've heard a lot of great things about L.A. Girl cosmetics, so I was very excited :)

I only bought 1 colour - Dreamy, but I'm sure I'll grab a few others along the road ;)

It has a flat doe foot applicator which makes it easy to apply. I really like the formula, it goes on watery, but it isn't runny nor does it bleed. It does dry completely matte, without any shine at all. It's opaque in only one layer, but it is buildable too.

It lasts through meals and doesn't transfer when you drink etc. 

Dreamy is a darker nude shade. I really don't like the "concealer" type nudes since they don't look great on me at all, but this one has some warmth to it and a lot of peachy, orange undertones.

I have to say it doesn't feel very drying on the lips at all. It's actually better feeling than the Colourpop matte liquid lipstick, since Colourpop one does feel extremely dry on me and I have to have a lip balm with me at all times.

Overall I'd say definitely give one a go and you'll see what you think about it! I think the quality is great for the price point :)
